Leveraging AI to mark a brand milestone.

To celebrate their two millionth car sold in Australia, Hyundai wanted to capture four decades of automotive history… with less than four weeks to concept, craft and produce the spot ahead of the biggest sporting weekend of the year. 

Without two million dollars — or a time machine — we dipped our toe into the world of AI tools and techniques, using Midjourney to replicate Hyundai’s journey in Australia from the ‘90s to now based on prompts alone.

Taking a literal drive down memory lane while providing a roadmap for how to best leverage AI for the future, the campaign immediately smashed KPIs, more than doubling competition entries by the mid-way point of the campaign period.
